There are three disciplines within combat. Melee is one of them. This means that you will be fighting with your fists, swords, scimitars, axes and warhammers. The player's accuracy with melee attacks will be boosted by training the Attack skill. And the maxumum hit of melee attacks will be boosted by training the Strength skill. There are three types of weapon damage: crush, stab and slash. Melee also includes Defence. The higher the level in Defence, the less dammage the player will take and the better the equipment they can wear.
